About School of Fish Foundation
Co-founders Shannon Ronalds and Robert Clark are on a mission to implement sustainable seafood courses in culinary schools around the globe with the aim of empowering tomorrows chefs to bring sustainable seafood to every table. To raise funds for their School of Fish Foundation, they have created the world's only Floating Dining room for their 'Plastic Bottle Dinner' event where for 60 nights this summer they've been entertaining one seating of 12 lucky diners every night.
Constructed entirely of renewable, recycled, reclaimed or re-purposed materials, the Floating Dining room is anchored in False Creek, at the foot of C Restaurant. Float for the restaurant is provided by 1700 plastic bottles which represent the plastic waste discarded in our oceans, one of the many threats to our seafood supplies. The dining space is sleek and modern, complete with intimate lighting, soft music, designer furnishings, bone china dishes, elegant silverware and crystal glassware.
The Floating Dining room has been a phenomenal success, garnering attention around the world. School of Fish Foundation is well on the way to their fundraising goal, but has a few seats left in the remaining weeks. Grooster bumped into Shannon before two bottles were strung together for the Floating Dining Room and we've been extremely excited about this amazing project ever since. To allow our subscribers to take part and to support School of Fish, we've secured a limited number of tickets for the remaining dinners and are happy to be helping to reach their fundraising goal.

Enjoy a six-course seafood meal created by renowned Chef Robert Clark of C Restaurant. Your meal will be accompanied by six wines selected by Certified Sommelier Shannon Ronalds. Shannon and Robert will be instrumental in delivering your meal, explaining each course and providing a lesson in the sustainable practices associated with everything you encounter throughout the evening.

How is an offer activated?
A minimum number of buyers is required to activate some offers. If minimum is reached the offer becomes active for everyone. There are limited quantities of every offer, so act fast and obtain your Grooster Pass.
What happens after I buy?
If a minimum number of buyers is required and has not been met, your credit card will be pre-authorized for the purchase. As soon as the offer is activated, your card will be charged and we will send you an email confirmation and instructions. If the minimum is not met, your card is not charged.
How do I redeem my purchase?
A Grooster Pass appears in "My Account" after you get an email confirmation. You can print your Grooster Pass or email it to your smart phone. Give or show the merchant your Grooster Pass when you arrive.
Can I return my Grooster Pass?
All sales are final and refunds are not permitted. That said, we aim to please, so contact us at support@grooster.com and we will review any requests.
